I'm so sorry I haven't updated in forever. The past few days I've just been leaving this page open and not submitting anything.
My holidays are coming to an end soon sadly! It's amazing how two weeks fly by so fast. They weren't very productive too and the worst part of it is that I still have assignments left to complete. It really infuriates me why teachers/lecturers give homework during holidays. I mean, isn't our holidays meant for us to take a break from school? Having said that, it's a bit childish for me to rant about stuff like this that happens everywhere. After all, there must be a reason why teachers insist on giving homework.
Every holiday, I start off with a list of things I want to get done. I'm determined to make the best of the holidays. Nearing the end of the holidays, I realize the list isn't even half done yet. During this two weeks, I wanted to catch up on stamping and also revamp my livejournal - change my userpics, layout, profile etc. The only thing I got done was stamping.
On a more positive note, I interviewed a lady who worked at the National Museum with a friend of mine a few days ago. She spoke about how it's important to have passion and heart, that your job shouldn't just be your job, it should be something you enjoy doing. There are so many people out there who are bringing in big bucks but often do so complaining and whining. I don't think that's nice at all. She also said about ways of getting into the arts industry etc. It really makes me think about my future. I spend a lot of yesterday daydreaming about what it'd be like to live in NYC, photograph every of its quirks and beauty, and be a part of "something".
So tell me, how do you envision your future to be like? You can be as idealistic as you want! I'd love to get a piece of your mind! (not in a bad way - I mean why is it bad to get pieces of someone else's mind unless that someone else happens to be your enemy...)
P/S: I just realize how formal this entry sound haha! Sorry, I don't mean to scare off anybody.
( Lots of stamps under the cut! )
